We are proud to celebrate the graduation of VEEP Cohort 15, a group of veterans who have completed the Veterans Electrical Entry Program and are ready to take the next step into the electrical industry.
These graduates have demonstrated the discipline, determination, and commitment that define those who serve—and now they are bringing those qualities into a new career in the electrical trade.
The graduation brought together graduates, family, friends, instructors, and industry leaders to celebrate this important milestone.
The ceremony was hosted by Mike Kufchak, Director of Veterans Affairs for IBEW Local 11, with remarks from David Nott, ETI Training Director, and Eric Cartier, LA NECA Chapter Manager.
The keynote address was delivered by Marty Riesberg, who shared an inspiring message with the graduates as they prepare to begin this next chapter. His remarks emphasized the value of their military experience and the opportunity ahead of them in the electrical industry.
Responsibility. Reliability. Leadership. Teamwork.
These are just some of the qualities veterans bring to the trade—and qualities that will continue to serve Cohort 15 well.
A special thank you goes to Steve Rose and Vincente Martinez, whose guidance and instruction helped prepare Cohort 15 for what comes next.
Graduates were presented with their diplomas and tool kits, generously supported by Milwaukee Tool, giving them the tools to begin their careers.
For these veterans, graduation is more than the end of a training program. It is the beginning of a new mission—one where the skills and values developed through service can continue to make an impact.
